Bringing Baby Home: The New Parent Workshop

Even the strongest relationships are strained during the transition to parenthood. Lack of sleep, never-ending housework and new fiscal concerns can lead to profound stress and a decline in marital satisfaction – all of which affect baby’s care. Not surprisingly, 69% of new parents experience conflict, disappointment and hurt feelings. Bringing Baby Home workshops prepare couples for life with baby and helps them be the best parenting team possible. In a relaxed and supportive environment, parents learn to strengthen their relationship and foster baby’s development during this challenging time.

Couples retreat for expecting and experienced parents of kids under 5 years old

Baby Blues and Beyond

Do you have a new baby at home? Feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, sad? An estimated 15% of women experience Postpartum Depression and many new moms struggle through alone, wondering why everything seems so hard, comparing themselves to other mothers, wondering what is wrong with them, and questioning whether they should get some help.

Taking care of a baby is a full-time job so even when you want help its sometimes hard to find the time to make it happen. Here at LifeCentre we understand this struggle and we want to make access to service as easy as possible with flexible appointment times, online self-scheduling, and of course feel free to bring your baby to appointments with you if you desire.

Services are also available for those struggling with mental health during pregnancy and for dad's having difficulty adjusting to fatherhood.
