A FEW YEARS LATER
Child-proof your relationship
Even the strongest relationships are strained during the transition to parenthood. Lack of sleep, never-ending housework and new fiscal concerns can lead to profound stress and a decline in relationship satisfaction — all of which affect baby’s care. Not surprisingly, 67%of new parents experience a significant conflict, disappointment and hurt feelings. This workshop prepares couples for life with baby or helps them navigate the way through life with littles.
Together you will learn about:
Research has demonstrated that the Bringing Baby Home program results in:
· More intimate, satisfying relationships
· More attached and involved dads
· Lower rates of postpartum depression (30% lower)
· Better developmental outcomes for babies
Workshops are held twice per year and are typically overnight in a resort setting. Please contact us for questions and upcoming dates. Most insurance companies will cover these sessions under couples therapy or group therapy, though some may require pre-approval. Although these are group sessions, personal discussion and practice is done only between the couples to ensure your privacy. There are opportunities for group sharing but only for those who wish to and are comfortable. A safe supportive environment is maintained and no one will be put on the spot or forced to share.
